About Me

I recently graduated from Syracuse University and the Renée Crown Honors Program with dual degrees in Political Science and Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism. As a writer, I am passionate about sharing stories that help us understand different perspectives and motivations in the hope of sourcing change for the better. My favorite part of writing is diving in and learning as much as I can about something new.

While studying at the Newhouse School, I gained a strong comprehension of journalism ethics, emerging media platforms, website building, AP writing style and data analysis. Through my Political Science courses, I learned how to think critically both in a national and global context. I love exploring how individuals can impact policy, social movements, and the greater political climate.

While working for the Food Bank For New York City, I was able to combine strategic digital marketing, writing, and a mission I truly believed in. This experience showed me how powerful storytelling can be when shedding light on different human experiences.

I love country music, traveling, Boston sports, and reading everything I can get my hands on. Most of all, I am excited to begin my career!
