I am currently the Alumni Relations and Student Publications Coordinator at Wooster School. With the Development Team, I develop engagement strategies and manage alumni communications. I teach four levels of journalism using a curriculum I designed, covering writing, video production, editing and media literacy. Through these courses, I oversee the school's online student newspaper and mentor student journalists in producing content. I also manage yearbook production and serve as a coach for girls' basketball and lacrosse.
I graduated from Syracuse University and the Renée Crown Honors Program with dual degrees in Political Science and Magazine, News and Digital Journalism. As a writer, I am passionate about sharing stories that help us understand different perspectives and motivations in the hope of sourcing change for the better. My favorite part of writing is diving in and learning as much as I can about something new.
While studying at the Newhouse School, I gained a strong comprehension of journalism ethics, emerging media platforms, website building, AP writing style and data analysis. Through my Political Science courses, I learned to think critically in both national and global contexts. I love exploring how individuals can impact policy, social movements and the greater political climate.
I also love country music, traveling, Boston sports and reading everything I can get my hands on.
